A highly interesting conference took place on Saturday, January 22nd, at the construction site of the Mizzoccola Bridge in Domodossola, where Aedes is working on the replacement of the metal deck. The event, organized by the Società Subalpina Imprese Ferroviarie (SSIF) in collaboration with the Order of Engineers of the Province of VCO, was attended by around forty professionals, all eager to learn more about the various phases of this important project.

The morning began with a series of presentations that provided a comprehensive overview of the project. The client outlined the infrastructure modernization plan for the "Vigezzina" railway, while the designers and project management team described the technical aspects of the work. The Safety Coordinator addressed the delicate issues related to safety on the construction site, and finally, Aedes shared the execution and construction details, from the initial phase to the launching of the new bridge, whose shape is now clearly visible.

In the afternoon, participants had the opportunity to visit the areas of the "Vigezzina" and the bridge construction site. The technical visit allowed them to appreciate the organization of the site, the use of advanced lifting equipment, and the careful preparation of areas for the launching operations. The day ended with the full satisfaction of all attendees, who were able to directly witness the importance and complexity of this project.
