Seventy days after the construction site was handed over to Aedes, the new public square named "Pausa urbana" or "City break" is beginning to take shape.

Eight thousand square metres, six thousand of which are for public use with a large fountain, benches, green spaces and picnic area with trees, in front of the new ADI museum.

The raised platform in the centre of the area has already been completed, above the base you can see the first plants, cherry trees and ash trees.

The stretch of wall to the left of the entrance at number 9 was demolished yesterday, and was the first step towards the opening of a major new public space at the gates of the city centre. The square is scheduled to be open by summer, according to studio Archemi who are overseeing the work (to offset Porta Volta real estate development).
