Description


Renovation and extension of the West Pavilion of the S. Giuseppe Hospital in Piancavallo, located at about 1,300 m above sea level. Overlay in wood and steel in order to create the fourth floor and creation of two new ends, with vertical connective function. First, second and third floor completely renovated with functioning hospital. Third and fourth floor façades covered with natural grey fibre cement panels. Roofing in corrugated sheet metal on a wooden frame. Enclosure of the western end composed of a modern continuous glass façade, coated with a sun-screen system in wood and aluminium. New ground floor lobby for the shared hospital services. Basement for technical rooms.
